UGC for Australian Lifestyle Brands: Belle & Bloom & EYE Wonder
At ili ink, storytelling is at the heart of everything I do, whether through minimalist illustrations, brand design, or content creation. Recently, I’ve been diving deeper into UGC (User-Generated Content) collaborations, helping lifestyle brands connect with their audience through authentic, relatable visuals.
Two of my latest projects were with Australian lifestyle brands Belle & Bloom and Eye Wonder, both of which share a love for creativity, fashion, and everyday inspiration.
What is UGC & why it matters
UGC( User-Generated Content) isn’t just about pretty photos. It’s about showing products in real life, creating a bridge between brands and their communities. Unlike polished ad campaigns, UGC feels natural, personal, and easy to connect with.
For lifestyle and fashion brands, this means building trust, encouraging conversation, and making their products part of people’s daily lives. That’s exactly where I come in.
Collaboration with Belle & Bloom
Belle & Bloom is an Australian fashion label known for its playful, feminine, and effortless style. For this collaboration, I created content that mixed:
• Fashion & Lifestyle Photography – capturing Belle & Bloom pieces in everyday moments that felt stylish but also attainable.
• Playful Social Media Trends – incorporating humour and trending audio (think girl math reels and cheeky captions) to show how their accessories fit naturally into a modern woman’s world.
• Personal Storytelling – weaving in my perspective as a content creator, entrepreneur, and illustrator to create posts that felt both authentic and aspirational.
The result? Content that didn’t feel like advertising, but like a glimpse into the lifestyle Belle & Bloom’s audience already aspires to.
Collaboration with EYE Wonder
With EYE Wonder, an Australian eyewear brand, the focus was on blending fashion, fun, and creativity. My UGC included:
• Reels & Carousels that highlighted the sunnies against seasonal backdrops—yellow flowers, fresh colours, and a touch of humour.
• Catchy Titles & Playful Captions that brought a personal and girly vibe, encouraging followers to see sunglasses not just as accessories, but as part of their everyday energy.
• Lifestyle Positioning – making the product feel as natural in Sydney streets as it would on a summer holiday.
This project leaned into colour, positivity, and that signature ili ink tone, friendly, fun, and always a little bit creative.
For me, it was also the perfect opportunity to blend my roles as an illustrator, content creator, and entrepreneur, crafting visuals that not only fit the brand but also tell a story through my creative lens.
