French Café - rebranding
The French Café in Nouméa offers a warm and authentic French café experience, serving exquisite pastries, gourmet coffee, and delicious French-inspired dishes. As a beloved local spot, it captures the essence of French culture with a cosy, inviting atmosphere and a passion for high-quality ingredients.
For this rebranding, the goal was to create a visual identity that truly reflects the café’s charm, authenticity, and personal connection with its customers. A key part of the rebrand was illustrating the two business owners in the logo, adding a personal touch to the café's identity and connecting with customers on a deeper, more meaningful level.
What I Did
• Logo Design – I illustrated the two business owners in a minimalist yet detailed style, bringing a personal and intimate feel to the logo. This representation adds warmth and authenticity, making the logo a unique reflection of the café’s spirit.
• Colour Palette & Typography – I selected a combination of warm, rustic tones to evoke the feeling of a traditional French café, paired with modern, elegant fonts to create a welcoming yet refined atmosphere.
• Branding Collateral – From menus to signage, I ensured that the rebranding remained consistent across all touchpoints, reinforcing the café’s identity and appeal.
The result? A logo and brand identity that not only captures the essence of The French Café but also tells the story of its passionate owners—delivering an experience that feels both personal and authentically French.
