Editorial design of the first French entrepreneurship survey in Australia
I had the honour of designing the first survey on French-Owned Australian Entities and French Entrepreneurs in Australia, commissioned by FACCI – the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, with the support of the French Embassy in Australia and Business France.
This report isn’t just a set of data points — it’s a snapshot of the growing French business community down under. It highlights the diversity, impact, and contribution of French talent in the Australian economy. From tech startups to fine dining, from green innovation to fashion, the French touch is everywhere — and now, it’s officially recorded and beautifully visualised.
A Clean and Clear Approach
Our design goal was simple: elevate the data without overshadowing it. We created a sleek, minimalist layout that allowed the content to speak for itself. With a soft yet corporate colour palette inspired by both French and Australian landscapes, and clear infographics that guide the reader intuitively, the report delivers insights in a format that is both professional and human.
Celebrating Dual Identity
Working on this project as a French designer based in Sydney made it all the more personal. The bilingual presentation, subtle cultural nods, and clean typographic rhythm were all intentional. It was about bridging two worlds, just as these businesses do every day.
More Than Just a Survey
This report is the first of its kind — a foundational piece for future collaboration, investment, and growth between France and Australia. We’re proud to have helped shape the way it’s presented and remembered.
